  • OP is this good for flat foot runners ? Would you suggest another if not ?

    • +2

Hokas have a bit of an arch to them so can take a bit more getting use to vs other brands for those with flattened arches. The Cliftions also aren't particularly wide for a shoe so you may want the wider width depending on your feet.

Cliftons are pretty decent running shoes comparable to the likes of the Saucony Ride 15 or Nike Pegasus 39 which are both on sale through various retailers.

      • Used Saucony before.thanks for the explanation

    • Depends. Do you have a collapsed arch or naturally flat?
Naturally flat should be ok with any neutral runner. But I guess everyone is different.

These are OK. I've got super flat feet and recommend the Bondi range. I've run multiple half marathons in them with no foot or knee pain. I've got the Cliftons as well and use them as walking shoes but wouldn't run longer distances in them.

      • +1 for the Bondi I too have really flat feet, the Bondi is by far the best I've used. I hear the 7(which I have) is better than the newer 8. So would suggest looking for the older cheaper version.

The Brooks Ghost doesn't come on discount that often but that felt so comfortable right out of the box while the Bondis(Bondii?) take some getting used to.

Btw anybody has used Hoka Arahis? Supposed to be some of the best stability shoes which are supposed to be better for flat feet, I do know that it's pretty contested , but still?

        • +1

I tried the Arahis too and they do have good support and were a decent shoe. In hindsight I think I had too narrow of a shoe to make them super comfortable but they were alright. I've found with flat feet I tend to go with a slightly wider shoe for a better fit. Give 'em a go but I would still choose the Bondis over the Arahis.

  • I bought the 'Clifton 8' size 10 (D). I've worn Nike size 10.5, Asics running shoes size 10 (2E). Should I get size 11 (D)?

    • I'd go for the 10 (2E). Length wise it's fairly true to size but a bit narrow like Nike.

      • +1

Thanks, I re-ordered size 10(2E). I emailed them to cancel the size 10(D).

  • Thanks, order placed.

  • No men's 8 in 2E?

  • Sorry had 150 prs but none of those. We have found some can wear a regular fit and remove the innersole?
    Cheers
