WiFi 2.4GHz/5GHz AC1300 Bluetooth 4.2 USB Adapter US$8.15 (~A$11.65) Delivered @ Factory Direct Collected AliExpress

430

On sale is this USB WiFi Adapter that features WiFi dual band 2.4Ghz/5Ghz AC1300 with dual antennas and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity. It's a good option for those who have poor integrated WiFi or looking to add wireless connectivity to a PC that doesn't have WiFi.

Alternatively if you need something really simple with 2.4Ghz Wifi only and a slower speed then this Comfast Adapter is a good option too.

It's using the Realtek RTL8822BU chipset which means it may not be fully compatible with MacOS. These drivers on GitHub should work with this USB Adapter.

AU$ based on current MasterCard rate at time of posting, GST inclusive and stacks with cashback.

used to be approx. 1 moth but I have bought multiple items recently, most of them arrive within 5-14 days. They sometimes combine shipment from several sellers into 1 package. Very impressed

    • cheers for the replies

  • Cool, useful to have a spare of these. Tried replacing the mini pcie card on my ITX build with a Wifi 6 card but it has been unreliable 🙁 Hopefully this solves the issue until I can run ethernet around the house.

When I had the same problem last year, I used an old wifi router that I put into bridge mode. Routers tend to be much better than slotcards or usb sticks, and you can move them to the place with the best reception.

  • Showing as unavailable for my location. 🥺
Tried other posts in AliExpress but showing a different model for the lower price when I actually try to buy it.

    • Seems to happen with this seller for some reason.

Are you logged into your AliExpress account? Any adblock or VPN turned on? Browser?

      • I'm using the app. Tried using Chrome browser with no vpn nor adblocker but same result.

        • How about with mobile data? Someone was using an alternative DNS to their ISP and that was blocking some of AliExpress.

          • @Clear: I'm actually on a boat using their wifi so that might be the problem. 😅 Unfortunately I have no service in my current location. But appreciate your replies 😁

  • Huh why did mine come to $24.39 aud for 1?
