This is the remake version which unlocks Jan 28th at 3am (you can preload today) on EA/Origin - seemed like a good price. PP fee was an extra $1.38

Steam is currently offering a free version of dead space 2 if you pre-order dead space remake (for $89), but as I already had it on origin, this was the better deal for me.

Note for those that havent used instant gaming before, you need to provide ID when using Paypal (unsure about using CC) such as a photo of your drivers licence against their website or a bit of paper with their name on it - you can blurr out the sensitive details before uploading (they just need to see your name, nothing else). Although this seems sketchy, it seems to be how they're trying to avoid scammers/fraud. I've bought a few things through them in the past no identity theft yet. My code for this was supplied via a photo, like some other cd-key places, other games have been the actual code text.

    Also didn't know there was even a remake, the original on ultra on PC still looks great, AAA prices for old game with slight graphics improvement is an insult at least it doesn't seem to ruin the aesthetic or make it worse like some remakes (GTA3/SA). Just milking nostalgia for $$$ and doing minimum work outscoring to some 3rd party all the rage these days.

      Maybe a valid complaint if it was direct from EA.

      As it's from a third party seller… they probably have limited keys.

    Its aparently a gound-up remake on a different engine (frostbite), as a fan of the original series im excited :)

      Unfortunately not yet, cheapest anywhere right now for Steam DRM is off the Steam Store itself.

      Been a while, maybe a cheaper option to test waters to see if there's interest….

      Also, like Hollywood, so much easier to just do the same thing and be safe.

    I don't know if its just me, but I find any game over 40$ too expensive and I always wait for a sale.
