DSE William Street Perth - Linksys/Cisco WAG320N - $49.95 Limited Stock

50

Hi guys, picked up two - there were three left - I think the original price was $159, then $99 and now $49.95. I think I might only use one - give my ex wife the TP Link :-)

Nice unit…not sure how long they will be available - can't find it on the DSE website.

  • I can post the receipt tomorrow if need be - couldn't find it on their website either. As a matter of fact, no cisco or linksys makes a showing on the website…maybe they are getting rid of both?

Mind you, the same at Mwave is $ 149…http://www.mwave.com.au/sku-46040372-Free_Shipping_-_Linksys_by_Cisco_WAG320N_Dual-Band_Wireless-N_ADSL2+_Modem_Route

Let me know if anyone in WA wants one.

    • could u pls upload it when get a chance….

    • Soz, is it a better modem router than a belkin? My stupid bob 2 always disconnects me.

      • If you want a better router than that look at the specs, look for ventilation on the router for heat to escape and look for external antennas (internal ones generally don't work as well, and you can always upgrade your antennas to something of Jurassic size for about $30 off ebay!). Check reviews at http://reviews.cnet.com/networking-wifi/?tag=hdr;brandnav they give best value for money routers as well!

  • Hopefully Cisco/Linksys have fixed the WPS issue!

  • i think i saw you at the cashier. Was trying to get the WD Livewire.

    • I am sure I looked a bit flustered…very nice blonde lady bought a phone just before me and I wondered where the antenna was :-)

"Cisco may collect and store detailed information regarding your network configuration and usage for the purpose of providing you technical networking support."

This includes indexing music and video files on your network and tracking all your downloads, then reporting them back to Cisco. Most likely to either monetise your usage trends or pass on to law enforcement. I can only imagine what their MO is.

  • They have one left at the moment. Should be on the shelves with all the other routers, on the right hand side wall of the store as you go in.
