If I order with no bun on either burger, a garden salad instead of chips and a coke no sugar this should actually be a rather lowish carb snack… and only slightly disgusting

Yeah, a bit of an increase, but at least only a under 20% one. I don't like when you have a price increase that is many times the inflation rate which at least this isn't one of those.
Unfortunately fries have raised in price by around 25% since then, so you can expect to be paying more for a while.

they used to have mc meal feast as an on going small meal ….then small mc chicken meal ….then double beef and bacon burger ….. what is the “small meal” for $5-$6 at maccas like they used to have for months on end or they don’t have one anymore ….any you wait for a one off promo on the app …..

It's not on the menu but you can order a Quarter Pounder with customisations (add slice tomato, lettuce, McChicken sauce, remove one slice cheese) to essentially make the same thing.

Deals only come up when you allow the Mymaccas app to track you ALWAYS and to your precise location (in iOS privacy location settings). So the discounts/deals come with giving them information on your whereabouts and movement.
