Looking for a Mortgage Broker

Hi all

I'm looking for a mortgage broker who will help us borrow the maximum amount we can

We own one investment property and looking to buy a house to live in.

We are in North West of Sydney if that matters.

Also recommend @Peter MortgageBroker - have worked with him and referred a few people too. He's in Greystanes but can travel to you.

  • If you want a dodgy Chinese one I can recommend, gets through some loops and holes to get you higher borrowing power when highly leveraged, more borrowing power in high interest rate environments is a win

Sure - I mean, who doesn't? What are their contact details?

What can possibly go wrong borrowing more money?

    Maximum amount?

    I'm scared for you OP

Yeah watch out for the interest rate rises OP! Could get nasty…

      • Don't worry, analysts are predicting that the RBA will level off rates in a few months, so it's safe to go ALL IN.

    • More like maximum amount which could stand five more rate rises and live comfortably.

  • When people ask for assistance finding someone who will allow them to borrow the 'maximum amount we can.' implying that this person will allow them to take onboard more debt that others feel is appropriate - its a huge worry!

You do realise that even the average lender gives NO concern about your wellbeing on even the average loaned sum…..ONLY that you can service this debt fully? And yet you want to find the person who will go above this to let you take on even MORE debt than this? :-/

So are you 100% certain you can service this loan regardless of future rate rises? And in the instance that you CANNOT is it the lenders fault or yours?

  • The people at Mortgage Choice are generally pretty good.
