Goes up to AUD $1,762.28 once you try to check out.

    • Mine stayed the same until checkout, you didn't accidentally add the options that pop up?

Are my bad! Still ok deal, will update

  • The problem I have is 7900 XTX or RTX 4080? Both sites at the same price, I need help

    • Although (profanity) NVIDIA,but I will go 4080 with no choice. Bad experience with 6900XT

      • Can you share more about your negative experience with 6900xt? I’ll go for what offers better performance in MSFS2020. But stability matters above all else and I’ve heard bad things in this department for AMD.

        • You are correct, stability is the main issue. The possibility of driver error is much higher than my experience with NVIDIA.

@asuka1204: my experience working for a computer shop previously is that most of the time it's not the GPU that's not stable, is the GPU generating tons of heat and start to cook the RAM right above it.

Either you have had a case with little ventilation, not enough fans, or a RAM with bad temperature tolerance.

AMD GPU Driver will almost always error out if something crashes, even if the issue isn't AMD GPU/Driver itself.

to valid my point, I suggest you to run both Furmark and Tm5 with Anta777 profile (note: if you own Intel 12/13th gen, make sure disable e-cores before running TM5 or else it won't detect any error)

note RTX4080 vs 7900xtx at same price I will vote for 4080, at least Nvidia card has CUDA and DLSS which adds a little bit of value (and able to use FSR anyway), I will be in team red instead if 7900xtx become more than 15% cheaper than NV

You can check this problem, the video blurry in the web browser bug. A small example of AMD driver issue I experienced. I found the problem in Feb 2022, the bug had not been fixed in Sep 2022. I finally found a temporary solution in the website after tolerating this bug for more than half a year. The driver is way worse than Nvidia.

    • Where you get RTX 4080 for this price?

    • Always go for nVidia at the same price for better driver stability and productivity. I will consider 7900xtx only when it's 300 cheaper than 4080

Go with NVIDIA if you like VR , or ray tracing , otherwise AMD will do if cheaper , which this is not ?
Rather get 4070ti for cheaper , it's better

  • Nice!

  • Nobody buys this and the 4080 or 4070ti.

Everyone's upgrade journey is different, but my advice would be to buy a good prior-gen card and wait for the next generation - I just don't think this generation of cards is good enough. We'll likely see better ray tracing performance in the next gen.

  • they are dreaming. good luck. people were hesitant to spent that much money when you could actually make money with them. now they are just glorified gaming machines. the used market is pretty good right now.

  • Good find OP. As an alternative, I’d probably spend the extra $37ish and get the Sapphire 7900 XTX for $1799 from Mwave:

Reference model, it's a gamble if you end up with one of the defective vapour chambers

  • Is newegg still worse than shoppingexpress?
