Prepaid Travel Credit Card Options?

Hi all,

I'm looking into recommendations for prepaid travel cards.

I used to use the Virgin/Velocity Global Wallet which had a physical card (aswell as additional virtual cards) and allowed deposits via internet banking that you could convert to any chosen currency to avoid overseas fees and limit amount of lost money if the card was misplaced or stolen. Global wallet has since been discontinued, so I'm looking for alternatives that do something similar?

    Avoids fees but the exchange rate you were getting would have been absolutely terrible.

    Cards that lock in forex rate if you choose: Wise, Revolut

    Otherwise ING, Citibank, ubank, macquarie - options are endless for regular debit cards that will convert at time of transaction.

    Rates for any of the above will be better than the Virgin card.
