I have ordered several canvas prints from Big W Photo over recent years. Their work is really good quality (fuji photo), great value (especially when on regular special) and the turn-around time is quick, delivered free to your local store for pick-up. I believe they operate out of Glen Innes, Northern NSW. 10/10 from me.

I am thinking to print some arts from games to put into my game Room. Do you believe the quality would be good with images as well? Cheers

Depends on the material - canvas prints tend to fare better with lower resolution images because the structure of the surface lends a lot of false detail and perceptual sharpness. The glass and metal prints are much less forgiving, you'll see every last bit of digital noise and going below 200-250dpi can look very messy.

It will depend also on the kind of art you're printing, some things are just easier to get away with with drawn art rather than photography. You can always use something like waifu2x or topaz gigapixel to resize/denoise, but if you're trying to rescue small print and text from a low res image (say, the credits on a movie poster) they won't help much there.

      • With my canvas prints, I have made montages/collages comprising multiple old historical photos from large to very small in size. The quality is very good, with minimal distortion in detail or colour (even low-resolution original images) - and the end-result looks great on the wall. The canvas are well-mounted (ie neat) on a timber frame.
