      Kmarts business looks booming.

Statements like this shouldn't be aloud.

    • Please explain

      • A speaker speaks. Yeah?

        • Oh. So just a bad pun.
          No worries

  • +9

i dont think these are very good speakers and i wouldnt pay for them

    • Which are the better speakers for the same price?

      • +1

        for what price (and purpose)? there's a range of $5 - $80

        • +1

The same ones that are not "very good." I just wonder if @191919 is comparing apples with apples (i.e. same price), or Anko with Bose/B&O, as the other comments alluded to above.

    I was not consulted

      Now you have 😄

    • +7

      But you’re always heard.

    • +3

but you are easy to turn on!

    • +2

      speak up!

  • The party boom for $29 seems to be ok as a bathroom speaker https://www.kmart.com.au/product/party-speaker-boom-43105182…

    • What sort of parties do you have in your bathroom?? Nevermind.

    • Now, seriously, unless your bathroom is humongous, 20W is a LOT for a bathroom (especially given the reverb from the tiles).

  • +4

    Instant landfill

    • Is it? I've had my Anko speakers for quite a few years. Yeah, they're no Bose or B&O, but neither am I that discriminatory. I find most speakers can be made quite decent with some equalising at the source.

      • You were lucky, mine sounded awful

        • They do out of the box. Did you try equalising them?

Your favourite spot in nature, soon to be filled with bogans armed with these

The riffraff can afford speakers now — the horror 😱

Coming to a public transport near you.

      Bus and train.

      • trams are safe! fantastic news, thanks!

        • We dont have trams where i am… yet. So for now.

But if you have trams. Get ready for you eardrums to get violated.

  • yeah nah

    • +2

      nah yeah

  • UE Boom 3. Done.

    • How much for?

      • I paid $150 including charging pad/dock. I still think it was one of best buys, in a while.

  • How does the Karaoke Party Speaker work as a Karaoke? Curious. Does the Karaoke function convert every audio to a somewhat karaoke version of that song?

  • +1

I actually got the 60w one for only $15 because of manager discounts.

It's super good for $15 but not worth the potential e-waste for $79

    • 60w rms theoretically is quite powerful/loud. Is it loud and clear? Sound quality wise?

      • +1

Quite bassy. Clarity isn't the best but hey what can I say for $79
