Is it just me or does their website suggest you will never see anything for your money?

    • We've been selling in EU for quite a long time with very good tracked record

      • +3

Your warranty and refund page goes against ACL yet your website claims to be an Australian company with Australian stock. How do you explain that?

        • -1

Ops, just delete that part, thanks for the remind.

It is a copy of our EU site, so some page might not updated…

    Gone up $100….

Claiming local warranty. Yeah I'd suggest previous post says enough.

    • -3

A bit funny that in the previous post ppls say the opposite
Besides, the $100 raise is not becaused the extra local warranty. We priced ourselves based on USD, the $100 raise actally is reflect the drop of AUD recently.

      • +4

AUD has appreciated against USD, not the other way around. You can check it. I'll call that excuse BS.

Edit: Just checked historical data and AUD was exactly 69 cents on 21/01/23 against USD, same as today.

        • +2

And the 120" screen has gone down by $138 since their last post. So, it should have been ~$4808 total (2.27% increase of $400, rather than being dropped to $262 as pilotyuan listed here).

It's also cheaper on your AliExpress store: $4,308.21 Delivered with bonus NBL screen 100"..

pilotyuan, you're charging us $200 more?

          • -1

@rompastompa: Exactly, we even dropped our 120" price as we found it acceptable, but I mentioned, we have certain rules to follow as a distributor.

AE is a wild west so the service standard is not as good as on our website(and the GST), if you are counting those factors in, we are actually charging less on our own website. Having said that, if you prefer the other way, hey why not consider our AE :)

        • Might not be 100% ture, but the price we were selling was too closed to the bottom line, a little currency change would get us crossed the line. In fact we got a warning last time so we decided to goes up a little bit to keep safe.

People here aren't going to accept dodgy businesses.

If you can't figure that out by now…

        • Well we have been selling Formovie since 2018 with very good record so we don't consider ourselves that way. If we are dodgy, we would just give out a price people can't resist and gone.

We were mainly focus on EU so you might found us pretty much unknown in Aussie, but hey everything comes from small, ppls tend to support small business but they become picky when comes to making decision.

A $100 price increased since the last deal was just posted few wks ago

Even having a same coupon code….

  • Any reason to get this over a hisense L9G? Seems not too different in price and get australian warranty

    • I think L9G is much more expensive..
Besides, Hisense native contrast is usually 1500:1 (despite whatever they say on the dynamic contrast)
      Formovie's native contrast is 3000:1

  • Hey there, you mention local warranty but the page says still need to send back to China if there's an issue? Does the page need updating?

    • Ops…Change it, thanks for the heads up

      • Is it still three years? And worthwhile mentioning AU warranty?

        • +3

Sure, that is 3 year, AU local warranty

          • @pilotyuan: Good work, you updated the page with more info

  • Hello, could you confirm the SKU? Can't seem to find it on your website 🙂

  • What's the difference between XY and NP screens?

    • +2

XY is using better fabric comparing with our NP screen right now, it is comparable with our own "Black" series
NP is our own home brand so we keep the margin low

      • Cheers OP thanks for clarifying.

  • +1

I ended up buying this unit with the 120 screen (which was cheaper than the previously mentioned deal) and it's been excellent!
Seller was quick to ship (AusPost/Toll predictably slow, not the fault of the seller) and the speakers are better than I expected!

    • Is it an XY Screen (the brand)?

      • +1

I bought the NP screen from the deal.
The instructions/packaging is pretty nondescript but I believe its Wemax

  • +1

Pilotyuan Give me a good deal on 120 screen Please

    • +1

Maybe check that the screen material is proper lenticular construction specifically for UST use. If its just a gray screen which is the impression I get from OP comment above its not a UST screen hence being cheaper.

      • it is lenticular screen for UST

        • +1

If this is the same screen as tested in this video, it seems that it doesn't come up too bad and is rated as the best value screen tested. Is this deal going to be repeated anytime soon [120"]? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2b8PXZtL1q8
