      And?

Means it is a poor deal

        • +9

Do you have a time machine so I can go back and get that price?

        • +2

Why are you negging, bro? This is clearly a good price. You don't just neg stuff because it's not the cheapest price ever.

            • +5

@shxhshzhz: It's not that great. Graphics card is 5 years old. I'd shop around

@jlv: You seem to be an expert. Please show us a better deal than this?

              • @jlv: Pretty sure the GPU is 4 years old - came out in 2019.

Do only all time lows count as bargains?

          • +1

@ihfree: Yeah apparently you get negged these days if your deal isn't the lowest price in the history of man kind…. 🤷

        • +2

Oh no, one neg. We must love every deal and we must defend every post. Hide your kids and call the police.

  • An interesting combination, P-series CPU and discrete graphics card.

    • P series is the more powerful version, yeah?

      • +1

U<P<H, in my opinion, in most cases, discrete GPU should be with H-series.

      • Unfortunately 12th gen in general have issues with reaching high max TDP quickly and thermal throttle. This effects battery life and sustainable performance. So it doesn't always follow the same pattern and is dependant on the chassis and cooling.

Battery life, based on Acer's own estimation, is only 5.5hrs. So it will less in the real world.

Sorry, where are you seeing this info?

  • According to this comment, there was a 10% gift card redemption back then. Essentially making this offer about $200 more exxy than the last time, which wasn’t even too long ago.

Still keen to know how one is meant to go back in time?

      • +1

You don't have to go back in time. There are plenty of 12th gen laptops on the shelf, that no one is buying. With AMD and Intel launching new mobile CPUs at CES 23, old laptops will need to be cleared out.

        • Finding them with dedicated graphics at this price point isn't easy, in my experience.

        Bring out the Delorean

Acer aspire is bottom of the barrel quality and the 1650 gpu is OLD.
Gigabyte A5 K1 3060 5600H was on here for $1150 a few days ago and is much better value than this.

Yeah if you want a laptop that sounds like a jet engine at the slightest hint of playing a game

  • Wouldn't recommend buying this laptop
    Feels cheap and nasty

  • i bought this laptop last year, pretty decent and portable.
My only problem is I only used a couple of times to play dota 2 and just let it collects dust since then.
Thinking of selling it but dont know what to do.
