Vanguard Personal Investor - Does Not Have Basic Reporting?

Hi

I recently started to use vanguard personal investor (due to 0 brokerage fees). However, I found the app and web UI does not have some of the basic portfolio reporting - i.e. average price of securities. When I log in it pretty much only have Portfolio value . Are other people experiencing this or am I not finding the correct page?

  • Based on this youtube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zke0lJo_rf8), it doesn't look like the platform offers any reporting

Bought Vanguard etf on a promise of no fees.
They lied at me and now I am stuck with another clumsy outdated system.

  • SOunds like you get what you pay for - might I suggest for reporting you go and pop your transactions into a free Sharesight account.

  • Over all it is a shitty offering, you only get to buy their ETFs for free but if you add any direct shareholding or non-vanguard products, they charge you 0.10% the value of your share portfolio every single year, what a rort, the bigger your portfolio the more money they going ripped off you

unless all you want is Vanguards ETFs and nothing else it will cost you a whole heap more compared to someone like Stake where you paid a once off $3 and there is no ongoing charge and you can buy whatever the hell you want, hell Betashares A200 ETFs is only 0.07% MER compared to VAS 0.10% so if you buy A200 ETFs on say Stake you probably doing better than buying VAS for free on Vanguard
