Possibly a PSA more than a deal.

Noticed these surprisingly cheaper than any other alkaline D cells.

Coles and Woolworths povvo D cells are circa $3.50 for two.

Battery = group of cells. Cell = singular.

Note “9 volt battery” contains six 1.5v cells.

Do yourselves a favour and buy a few of these. I stick my enelooops / Ladda into them without problems.

  Came here looking for this reply, has saved me buying single use C and D batteries for many kids toys. Won’t work for all high powered solutions, but it does the job most of the time.
