  • Anyone has used this particular one?
I looked into these a while a go but due to negative reviews turned away (maybe that has changed in last year)

  • +1

Works well for the computer and keyboard

Low air pressure, better off getting one with Blower and vac.

I have this exact one from previous sales and I'd never buy it again, this is rather expensive price also, even with the discount.

    • thanks!!!!!

Paid $40.29 in Dec 2021 on a lightning deal.
        Literally wasn't even worth that.

On 7/7/21 got OPOLAR 2-in-1 Vacuum | High Power Cordless Air Duster which was waaaay better and even the opolar one was reduced to $50 USD Inc delivery, was totally worth it.

        • My Opolar arrived DOA and they refunded me the $50 or so. Oh well.

Koonie Air Blower & Vacuum 2-in-1, Powerful 60000RPM / 8000PA Compressed Air Duster, 2 Speeds,Mini Cordless Vacuum Cleaner for Computer Keyboard Camera PC Car,Rechargeable Electric Air Duster, Blue https://amzn.asia/d/imgmvpn

Is better value and works same as the opolar one I mentioned

i have one from opolar, looks like the same but different color.
it was skeptical, now i cant live without it.

if you comparing to can air pressure, dont, they were never meant to be substitute for each other.
find the right use for the right tool.

Makita is coming out with an 18v LXT one if you're already part of the ecosystem and want something good.

  • I got the opolar version, I got a couple days of use out of it, then it went dead.

I asked for a refund, but they asked me alot of questions about it, and even told me to video record it. At the end I cbf and threw the thing in the bin.

It seems like it's the same skin but different branding. I would stay away from this unit.

  • Much better to spend tge extra on an Xpower Pro. Blows everything else away, pun intended. Well worth the investment.

  • Have the Opolar one too (looks exactly the same) for about 3 years now, good enough for most things

  • At this price, it's the same as that deal from supercheap auto eBay store for that Big Boi Blower Jnr.

I realise it's apples and oranges, but it'll do it with ease over this.

  • i can vouch for the $40 ebay ones, picked one up last year, works well

battery doesn't last that long though. maybe 10 minutes on highest setting

    pretty loud but powerful

there is also this similar version for cheaper but no experience with them

  • Anyone ever tried the Hurricane?

    https://canlessair.com/

I haven't bought any kind of electronic duster(still have a few cans left from when I bought in bulk), but was looking at replacement when I ran out and the Hurricane seemed to be the most highyl recommended.

Willing to pay more for quality and comparable or better blowing power.

    • The MetroVac https://www.pccasegear.com/products/36730/metrovac-datavac-e… is built like a tank - it's a great unit.

      • Hardly the same thing - it needs to be plugged into the mains.

        • Yes that's a positive - it never needs recharging, there's no battery to replace when it wears out, and this tool is already expensive - it would cost even more with the big battery it would need.

I wouldn't bother with a battery unit unless you have a use case where there's no power available.

@Nom: Yeah lol most places I go to where I have to take the PC outside on the grass to dust it without leaving dust all over the house/patio.

Being a mobile technician I never know whether clients have power outside so battery is actually pretty important if it's not just for home use.

But I would 100% consider the Metrovac for use at our office. Does indeed look amazing.

  • Doesn't seem like much of a deal when the Opolar's regular price is $85 delivered.
