I doubt anyone will pay RRP, even elsewhere. Also 7 year warranty when registered.

I got this torch when I needed one there and there with not much time to research. Its pretty nifty with heaps settings.

Ledlenser seems to make a few P7R variants - be sure its a 'signature' series when comparing prices, as they all seem to have difference specs and price points.

Is it the best torch value comparison to other brands? I don't know, please comment and discuss.
I'm happy with it thus far.

Product Info
The Ledlenser P7R Signature Torch is the high-end version of this exemplary flashlight. This is one of Ledlener's most premium, high-quality lights with up to 2000 lumens brightness.
With forward-thinking smart light technology, the light functions of the P7R Signature can be ideally tailored to the user's preferences.
The handy mode switch offers four separate switch positions for this purpose. Fortitude and durability are unparalleled with IP68 protection and a hard-anodized finish.
Further convincing arguments for the P7R Signature are the patented Advanced Focus System, the additional red-light function, the practical magnetic charge system and the natural colour reproduction.

    Same price at anaconda

  • What's the advantage of this torch over say a Xiaomi one which is 1/200th the price? https://m.aliexpress.com/item/1005004776103372.html?pdp_npi=…

    • Good question - I'd imagine the German engineered one would be better quality. But at that price, maybe the Xiaomi will do. Just get a few backups?

If you go into the description of the Xiaomi light it states 200 lumens aswell as 2000 lumens.

To be honest I can't see how they can put a lithium 14500 battery in there for $2.
Don't get me wrong I love my $2 cree torches but I feel 2000lumens might be a bit of a stretch

  • This is way too high a price for a flashlight of this size. You could get 6-8 of the wuben c3 rechargeable ones for that price off amazon.

    • The chap we went out with had an amazon one and it did a great job. We didn't have the time to order one in, needed it that night. The Ledlenser does seem to have good reviews etc. Just gotta pay for the brand and hopefully…. quality,.

      • I'm not sure "needed it that night" qualifies as a bargain.

Ledlenser were great many years ago but there's a lot of better options out there now.

I doubt anyone will pay RRP you say,… I doubt many more would pay the discounted price also

Ledlenser is overpriced, unless they're in clearance box at 25% the price don't bother.

    • Isn't the deal about 37% off? I'm seeing the 'P7R Signature' floating around online between $250 (sale) to $378 (overpriced)
Only BCF and Anaconda have it for $219

The wubens and sofirns have made stuff like these LEDlensers seem…..nonsensically priced.

  • Owned a LED Lenser L7 torch and also a LED Lenser H3 Headlamp. I would not ever buy a torch again, simply overpriced for what I got and it didn't stand up to use. Headlamp also broke but was able to fix, I probably wouldn't buy another one either.

Honestly, I would choose a chinese torch/headlamp over LED Lenser.

  • LedLenser used to be an amazing company..

I still have one of their older P7's that is still under lifetime warranty (stopped offering it to newer models probably almost a decade ago now)

    • Not good anymore? Reviews online still seem good.

      • I believe they've relocated since and probably have quality control issues. They don't offer lifetime warranty anymore, I think maximum is 7 years for some of their products.

I have no doubt they're still good, they just seem to not back their products up as much as they once did. Which they were proud of flaunting at the time. I think one of the only reasons I got this P7. And it's telescopic head.. 😅
