Personally we really like the Cooler we used in this system, the performance is on a par with higher grade coolers.
The performance of GL360 is even better than Asetek 8th Gen pump coolers based on our test.
Welcome to have a try and give us feedbacks!

We also prepared the precious Valentine Special RTX 4070Ti Gaming system with HYTE Y40 Case which looks great!

And Don't forget our good value gaming systems are still on sale:

i5-12400F + 3080 @ $1788
i5-12600KF + 4070Ti @ $2079
R5 7600X + 4080 @ $2988

Hope you guys enjoy your Valentine weekend!

Warmly,

Finally something Gran can do her emails on.

  • Hi everyone! I’m super new to PC gaming and saw this post - is it available to pick up from the store this weekend? I’m local and would love to buy one. Also, are there any recommended upgrades or key parts missing? Anything I should be aware of before buying? Thank you!

This is the very top end of luxury and almost no gamers have builds like this so no developers are tailoring their games to need it. For half or even a quarter of the price you can get something closer to what many would consider a decent modern gaming PC. You'll also need a monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc.

Thank you. Some helpful info here so I really appreciate it. It’s a bit challenging to know what to buy as I’m hoping for something that lasts me 8+ years and something I don’t have to think about when playing games. I have a very bad PC at the moment not designed for gaming and it’s a huge chore to trawl through settings just so it’s playable. Thank you again

I tend to build my PCs to last for 3-6 years, though a problem with going for too far out is you risk parts breaking and it would have been cheaper and probably better to just buy another mid-level piece in a few years, rather than trying to buy a high end piece to last the same length of time. Value for money drops off pretty dramatically for the highest few tiers of PC equipment.

Additionally the highest end graphics cards from a few generations back - the GTX 1080s - lack the newer type of tensor cores which RTX 30xx and 40xx cards have, and so while they're still fairly powerful, people are running into worse performance with them for some stuff like the new AI tools than what those on newer budget cards are getting.

If parts do last, you can easily put them up on facebook marketplace for somebody to pick them up for cash too, making upgrades every few years better value as well.

Going by Steam's latest hardware survey, the vast majority are playing at 1080p resolution (65%) or 1440p (13%), or oddball resolutions around those, with almost nobody playing at 4k, and games not really being made for it (and even cutting edge hardware still isn't necessarily capable of giving a great experience at that resolution). So while you could go for ultra high resolution and the hardware to support it, most of us have plenty of fun without caring about it, and you'll likely spend a lot of time frustrated with imperfect performance for what you paid. I just upgraded to 1440p and would recommend it as a nice target to be future proofed, but beyond that seems probably a bit excessive. I work/browse/game on my PC pretty heavily too.

        • I second Code Explode, something like the Siren for the $2000 will clearly last you longer than 3-6 years.

Currently I am still with my old set up i5-6500 and GTX 970 and it still runs the games I am playing today. Something 8 years ago and plays games like Dead by Daylight fine. So the Siren is the one I'm thinking of Picking up to upgrade my 8 year old rig,

Before that I had a process i7 920, it still runs some PC games but that lasted a long time till I needed to upgrade cause games were getting choppy that has a GTX 650, I just swapped the graphics card with the 970 and the games ran better (so graphics card is more important).

IF you get a rig like this, this will last you a VERY long time I would say around 16 years, I would say even the siren would be the same as the graphic cards are reaching a threshold that not enough improvement will make it better, unless they find a way to improve travel time on the internets (using some sort of magic, or a new mathematical formula, as everything is based on maths from the 16th century) but like other people here when your new rig does 50% improve then it's fine to upgrade otherwise don't bother you are just burning money.

        • def buy it. Most gamers are poor and don't work unfortunately (the ones that are online all day i mean) so those that have full time jobs can definitely afford any build under 6k every 8 yrs

This machine would mainly be for someone who wanted to do hardcore work on it not just gaming so if you were doing 3d modelling work or rendering tons of stuff or doing AI stuff that needed a huge amount of GPU VRAM.

For regular games its overkill but I guess if you wanted to keep it for 5+ yrs it should hold up easily.

It doesnt come with windows installed so thats an extra $150 plus it doesnt include any periphirals so you need to buy all of that stuff like keyboard mouse monitor etc

      • +1

Thank you, I really appreciate it. Didn’t realise it didn’t come with Windows so that’s good to know too.

        • +1

It comes installed with windows, just not activated. You can get the key cheaper online.

If you want the very best and would last you for 4 years at least for gaming or application, then this pc would be for you. It's your money and you decide how you want to spend it.

PS. For this pc, I would upgrade it to 13900k, maybe the cooler and that's about it

No one spending this sort of dosh is going to put in 2x16gb 32 GB into a system! DDR5-7200 CL34 Memory looks ok but the price of this higher spec DDR5 is price gouging still, while the 4800ghz speed DDR5 32gb single dimms are now well under $200 and approaching rapidly, $150 a dimm. 128gb the board limit in 2023/24 will become more common I predict and the next round of MBs/BIOS will need to raise this 128gb DDR memory limit! 64gb DIMMS will soon be a thing, then 128gb single DIMMS on the high end, 4x128=512GB of memory goodness will be POSSIBLE by 2025 ~ Yeah I know, wonder what we will use it for?

With OPTANE from Intel getting the shove and the technology being integrated into nVME's caches, from a seperate, expensive chip and propriety software support (it was never an AMD MB supported technology) it was never going to be market nitche INTEL was hoping for. Intel can and is burning dosh like it can keep doing this forever but it cant. They are lucky the USgov will always be propping them up and maybe even bailing them out soon, rather than later as china, tiwan and korea own the silicone high ground now.

WHATS WRONG WITH THIS CONFIG is while thats a top CPU and MB, its EOL is later this year with new chips and socket from Intel. A common problem… Id pick an AMD AM5 MB and 7xxx 3D chip (out soon, announced) and with the 128gb board limit still, 2xDDR5 32gb DIMMS, even if its only 4800ghz. More is better than benchmarked, faster is the TRUTH they lie about all the time to keep you spending on something that asside from a BM you will never see a benefit from, where as MORE you experience everytime you get busy with everything OPEN and running together!

    • Most people dont need >32….

      • +1

Yeah I max out my 32GB but I run virtual machines and render videos and graphics and AI stuff so 64 would be nicer. For someone just gaming and not using the PC for other work then yeah 32 is plenty

  • Can we still get the MSI RTX 4090 VENTUS 3X 24G OC GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB Video Card for $2959.00?
I can see that the price has changed back to $3199.00

  • Waiting on a 7900 XTX 1440p $4k system. At least prices will drop some more by the time a decent deal is posted

    • Maybe 3.5 K 7900 xTX is $1300 cheaper than 4090

      • I'd want better RAM/CPU/SSD etc. my budget is $4k , if I can get something with the best/next to best components for less I'd be happy as. Making the switch from console gaming and know little about PC, might request a build in the forums

      Hi johnnytran,

Actually, we can make a custom build for you based on your specs & budget requirement!

Would you mind leaving your name and email so we can send out a quote for you?

      Cheers,

Sent you a DM about the possibility of changing the cooler to a similar priced DeepCool AIO and a few other questions.

    • Replied, Please check the DM :D

IMO…if your system has the grunt deliver these gaming scenario: 1080P vs 4K (other things being equal), there is negligible 'immersive gaming experience'.
May be the push by the gaming industry for 1440p & 4k is driven by sales, ie gamers are being manipulated by reviews.
