Seems like a decent price for a good quality and well reviewed AM5 motherboard. Looks nice too especially if you're doing a black themed build.

    I think you are definitely right.

    it's more of a B550 Tomahawk WiFi level mobo, which is used to be around $250~$280 range.

    I get it that DDR5 and PCIe 5.0 both requires SMD than thru hole solder, and new chipset is a bit more expensive, but it certainly doesn't cost $100 extra to do it…

      Curious to know how SMD would be more expensive than thru hole? Surely the extra drilling operations and cycle time etc alone make thru hole pricer to manufacture.

        nice one, why did you want this one instead - 13600kf is a beast and this board you have supports pcie 5.0 whereas this amd one does not, pretty much guaranteeing you need to upgrade again soon

          @botchie: I can assure you that, you'll need a more powerful cpu way sooner than bottlenecking on PCIe4.0 & needing to get PCIe 5.0.
