First time posting, go easy fellas.

Set up an alert on ccc for this, and got a ding earlier. Bought a bag for the daughter. I've been using High Sierra backpacks since before 2010, and have always served me well. Comfortable, roomy, decent enough protection for laptops during my uni days and still serving me well currently in my professional life.

They ain't BIFL like (i've heard) Greggory, Deuter, osprey, Timbuk2 and Topo Design bags are, but hey, you aren't paying $300 for one either, so there's that.

edit: just checked ccc again, and it says that the bag used to be $80 odd before nov of 2022. Sorry fellas, my bad, the 40% may be misleading.

  • You reckon this would comfortably fit a laptop, pair of
men's runners ( size 12) and some lunch? I'm in the market for a new bag for work but finding online a bit tricky for sizes

Easily! I use one of these when I travel and only have a carry-on and I can't fit a week's worth of clothes, shoes, and electrical devices into it. A laptop, shoes, and lunch won't be an issue. Very durable and well-made backpacks too from my experience.

      • Really appreciate the reply. I'm sold! Cheers

        • Just measured work laptop, 17inch, dang it

Will easily fit it. The various high sierra bags have been my go to work bag as they fit laptop and room for couple of days clothes. Will say though theprice is nothing special, they are regularly on sale, i think i paid $59 last time.

      • who else sells them for a good price ?

        • I usually grab them in one of the various bags to go sales. though they are commonly sold by basically all the various online bags places.

    $69

    Nice

  • Had this bag for about 8 years before the bottom zip gave up, great bag, would have gotten it again but it's a bit big for my use now.

  • Is it out of stock? I clicked on the link to find "Currently unavailable"

I'm looking at this alternative for the same price. Amazon choice and very highly rated. Thoughts?
