Just noticed a lot of New Release Movie rentals on my Apple TV for $2.99 called Movie Frenzy and ends on the 16th, but to be safe I would rent on the evening of the 15th (might end 12am).

Edit: Forgot to mention. Rentals expire in 28 days from the day you rent as long as you don't start the movie. After you start the movie you have 48 hours until expiry.
Sometimes you can forget you rented something so I do recommend setting a reminder to watch the movie every week if you rented more than 1 movie.

They have these pretty regularly ($2.99 down from $6.99), but this is the biggest bunch of New Releases at once I have seen so far. Hopefully it helps someone catch a movie on their Apple TV if it's not on their subscription service.

A few of them were not included on the Movies App list but were on my Watch list. Some of these will be available on subcription services (Binge/Stan etc), if you notice any that are "Free on Sub" you can point them out in the comments maybe it will save some people time.

I have also noticed in the past Prime Video will occasionally price match rentals on iTunes, so you can check these on Prime if that's more convenient for you (no Apple TV etc).

If you have a sub to a service I suggest you pick the ones you wanted to watch out of the list then search for them in the Subscription (Netflix) App (some subs don't show in the main TV App) before renting them from iTunes.

There might be more so if you notice a movie on your watch list with a 2022/2023 release date for $2.99 you can mention it and I will add it to the list.

Just some points about a few of these movies (no spoilers).

Top Gun: Maverick can apparently (according to film buffs) be watched without watching Top Gun again first, or can be enjoyed by those who haven't seen the original.

Muru the Kiwi film looks interesting to me. Modern story with mentions of "covid" woven into the story.

Stars at Noon looks like a good suspense/thriller.

Vengeance is directed by "The Office's" B.J. Novak. Seems to be a bit comedic, not my thing since I don't watch the office or like comedy but worth mentioning.

The Man Who Sold His Skin is well reviewed, but I am not sure if I will like it. Might be a bit deep.

Bandit is reviewed as good, but honestly could go either way. It's a True Crime thriller so maybe that makes it harder to ruin.

Crimes of the Future, make sure you like Cronenberg films.

I am the idiot who posted this deal, and just noticed yesterday that it expired without renting any of the movies I wanted to watch 😂.

Just a PSA though I managed to rent a few that were still $2.99 last night, so might still be worth checking some of the ones you missed might still be the sale price.

This was posted 1 year 2 months 17 days ago, and might be an out-dated deal.
