  • Smiths thinly cut plain are my favourite.
And cherry ripe usually even though I hate dark chocolate.
Fererro rocher is good but I eat the whole packet.

  • Red Rock sweet chilli and sour cream, Turkish delight

I like the Costco Himalayan Salt chips .. made in America… in a huge bag, thick cut and real crunchy.

I love them but I find the only issue with them is the oil and salt mess at the bottom of the bag due to the size

  • Everytime I start liking a flavour (more than I probably should be eating them) they stop making it!
So will see how long this current obsession lasts..

Double Crunch Hot & Spicy Chicken Wings

Darrel Lea Life Savers Fruit Tingles Milk Chocolate

Best chip: Kettle Chili, Red Rock Deli Honey Soy
Best chocolate: Old Gold Rum N Raisin + any Lindt

Smiths plain - not the thin ones - not flavoured (chicken salt - bletch !) - I look for lowest unit price in the small print

Lindt Extra Creamy Milk chocolate - if on special - not seen so much these days.

I remember maybe 20 years ago the Woolworths Town Hall Sydney store apparently sold the most Toblerone chocolate in the world - they used to have tables of the triangular boxes stacked high for bargain prices just inside the corner entrance - but guess that deal has stopped

Wow, over a page of comments and not a single mention of the actual best chips SAMBOYS (which are still available, I get mine from foodworks). If you haven't tried them, you should.

    Are you people even Australian?

    • I find them a bit on the salty side otherwise they make awesome chip sandwiches 🤤

…it needs to be on the Citizenship Test.

  • Smiths (either chicken or cheese and onion), and Turkish Delight or Cherry Ripe.

  • Burger Rings. Sometimes Toobs but only because it may go out of production again.

  • Chips: thins salt and vinegar, the natural chip co salt and vinegar, pringles bbq and pringles salt and vinegar.

Chocolate: Whitakers, maltesers, ferrero rocher easter eggs

  • Musashi Deluxe Protein Bar Peanut Crunch. Better than most chocolate bars and has some degree of function with 20g protein and less than 3g sugar

I would pick a packet of Twisties over a packet of chips any day. Chicken or plain. Favourite chocolate bar Chokito, I've loved them (probably a bit too much) since I was a kid.

  • No way I could do them at the same time.
Favourite chocolate is Toblerone. Favourite chocolate bar is Violet Crumble.
Favourite "chips" is Pringles and Twisties.

  • My all time favourite Kettle Potato Chips Chilli and Nestle Aero Peppermint Chocolate.
The Chips and hot rice goes well too 😉

    Whitaker's Milk Chocolate.

    Also like Toblerone.

  • Kettle honey soy chicken
    Milo Kit Kat

  • Bluebird Sour Cream and Chives or Original
Lindt Original, preferably in ball form although, if you're talking gourmet - Mornington Peninsular Chocolaterie milk

  • My all time favourite chip is Samboy salt and vinegar but they sometimes can be hard to find so I don’t have them that often. My next favourites are chicken twisties and cheezels.

Chocolate for me is plain old cadburys dairy milk.

  • Smiths Cheese and Onion Chips
Cadbury Chocolate (Plain, Turkish Delight and Fruit 'n' Nut)

    Are my favourite varieties.

  • Popcorners, and Kitkat Chunky.

  • Kettle Chips or Tyrell.

Chocolate: depends if i am trying to be good or not.

    Not: m&ms, kitkat, chokito, cruch

    Trying: dark chocolate lindt

  • Thins lightly salted and Chokito or Boost chocolate bars Also Aldi Titan bars.

  • Best chips: Jaga Pokkuru
    Best chocolate: Royce

    • where are you buying these from?

  • RRDC honey soy or sea salt and vinegar. For chocolate I've taken a liking for the KitKat bars.

  • Zapp's Voodoo chips and I don't eat much chocolate but a Scorched Peanut Bar is hard to beat.

  • Pringle's are pretty great, but I grab the Aldi version, because it's not overrated ;)

    Kettle chips and Whittakers chocolate

    • +1

      Can't go wrong with that

American or Euro pringles are the best. Shame the only way to get the American ones now are through expensive means (Ezmart or Amazon or American stores)
Red rock truffle chips were amazing but that disappeared too
Ruffles cheddar and sour cream (again American chips)
CCs I prefer over Doritos but the Mexicana Doritos are addicting

I’ve been avoiding chips cause seems like you can’t get a decent price anymore they’re like $3-4 on special

    Tasty Toobs (made in Poland)

  • Thins original salt chips + Loaker wafer hazelnut tortina (or a good ol freddo frog if strictly choc bar).

  • I like the wave ones.

  • Chili kettle chips.

    Whittakers

  • Lays potato chips and kitkat chunky bar

  • First place) Smiths Sea Salt + chilli powder (not the extra hot) sprinkled over them uniformly. Yes there is a chilli version but it has vinegar which I am not a fan of. This is how chips are made in India. Just salt and chilly powder. This according to me is unbeatable. These can be found in Indian stores, but since they don't use preservatives, they wont taste as fresh as getting Smiths and manually adding chilli powder to it. I haven't tried the non-veggie flavors, so cant comment there.

Second place) Salted banana chips - Try Indian store. These are cooked in Coconut oil and salted. Hence the totally different flavor.

Third place) Lays Magic Masala. Again Indian store. When I was in US, I bot these to office and folks there absolutely loved them.

Fourth place) Baked chips - Smith's Baked Snacks Sour Cream & Chives

    Chocolate - Ferro Rocher.

  • First craving in both of my pregnancies was for salt and vinegar chips. Before I'd even taken a test…
