I can't book anything. How are people able to get it to work? It just says flights no available. I had a child to a woman in Vietnam last time I was there (don't ask) and it would be good to make my way over there…
thanks op
SO frustrating. Missed out this morning because i thought for too long. Refreshed flights for 30mins ago. Got the same fare as in title. Got all the way to payment page, put in visa card and it wouldn't accept and noticed it only accepts mastercard, so i changed cards.. clicked pay now, excited as anything. Failed payment. And it redirected me to the home page! And searched same dates, the fare had gone up. WTF
You probably "bought" the last of the sale fares when your payment failed. It'll pull the fare out of inventory and then when it goes to issue the ticket it'll realise something went wrong and usually should release it back into inventory. How long this will take? Who knows.
this is the worse website i have ever experienced, they took the money in my visa card (still pending) but no booking confirmation at all. Tried to contact them via chat/email but no responses so will see if the transaction gone thru if not, I will not bother to book with them…Customer service for this airline is non-existance
That's so strange, when i put in my VISA card, it didn't even let me proceed.
I ended up buying flights for a month later at the same price. I've just checked again for 30th Aug return and it's $115 or whatever it is.
Ended up paying $1436 for 4 people with 40KG there and 80KG back.
(no food or seats)
yup! it did not proceed too but charged my card later…still can't manage to contact Vietjet…I won't risk my money with them
@BlackorRed: Oh, unlucky. I just checked and i haven't been billed.
It could be pending only? This will reverse in 2 days. If it's confirmed payment, that's different
@cheapass88: Payment has been confirmed, I still can't chase them up from here, no email reply, called many times to Vietnam but still no one picked up the phone…what a shit airline…they operate business in Australia and no direct contact here either…Good luck to everyone!!!
@BlackorRed: Maybe try their international line
+84-1900-1886
@cheapass88: I did, no luck getting thru, always hang up
@BlackorRed: I called. Option 2 and then 2 again. Someone picked up straight away. No idea what you're doing..
@cheapass88: its alright, message friend in vietnam, they called them and sorted it out straight away but still not happy about the whole situation that I had to reach out to them
@BlackorRed: Was the flight confirmed? Or did you just get the refund?
@cheapass88: the flight was confirmed, they also charged me $66 cc fees for 2k flight, anyway, still cheap compared to others direct flight
@BlackorRed: So they just gave you your flight details? Not refund?
My cc fees were $1xx for $1300 flights
@cheapass88: wtf?!? 10% fees
@BlackorRed: Yeah i guess so. Oh well. Since you got your flights, you should remove your neg
Website is such a pain to deal with. To find the cheapest one (0 AUD - before tax/surcharges), scroll down to the second flight search, choose find lowest fare.

Oh my god. i wish i knew this before i booked. I clicked on all the dates manually! I spent hours searching lol.
Very good info though!!!
Has anyone managed to book or find any dates in December during xmas and new years at all?
Jetstar is selling return for $2300 wtf
You will not find cheap fares during these periods as they are the highest peak times. Is this still not common knowledge?
Damn, guess I was just in denial thinking that this promotion may have it covered somewhere lol ($300 is really cheap for other dates)
My boss just won't give me leave any other time :(
Time for a new job if they won't give you any leave apart from dec! 2023 is the year where employees are too privileged and jump ship when things don't go their way haha.
