Relatively cheap for a 32gb kit, but most importantly, 2rx8 dual rank sticks - as good as it gets for DDR4 and if you have seen LTT/Jarrod's Tech's videos, these bad boys nets one at the very least 20% gains in games and productivity workloads compared to stock DDR4 rams found on almost if not all 2021+ machines.

Timing is not the best, but at the same time, 1.2v @ 3200 JEDEC specced so dont have compatibility issue unlike those CL16 sodimms thats 1.35v, and would fit on all gaming laptops and nucs alike.

Camelx3 says its historical low so Ive already bit on the deal.

Good spot, however some reviews for those one seem to show that they are not the 2rx8 but 1rx8 for the 2x16gb kits, so may not be a straight upgrade but a tossup there. I bought this one for the certainty that I will be getting the 2rx8 ones.

      • Interesting - my kit was 2rx8 (64GB, 32x2 kit), its a tossup.

Yeah, best case scenario is that brands indicate what they are like desktop ram does :/ so its an easier choice for us consumers but i guess its against their best interests.

  • Would this down clock to 2400MHz?

    • If you system only supports 2400mhz, then yes.

  • Timetec?

I feel like I should have heard of them for some reason…

  • Unpublished neg vote. Whilst it has been NEARLY this price for two months now it has i fact dropped by about $3 according to camelx3. Far from a deal imo, but guess technically cheapest.

Pretty sure it has been this price ever since introduction to AU seller but could be mistaken. Surely I can’t be the only one who remembers them at this price with all the mini PCs we have bought 😂

    • Ah my bad, only started looking for some good ram yesterday as I switched to a machine which necessitated the upgrade. I was basing mine of camel which said its the cheapest :/
