Not a bad deal at all and the lowest historically by far on steam.
I purchased the PS4 with full price when it first came out, and got the base game as Epic freebie. Still, very tempting to get the ultimate edition for the DLCs and new skill trees.

I can't recommend this game enough, so much fun with a co-op partner
Yeah, I haven't played 3, but both 1 and 2 were so much fun!
3 was fun to play with my friend, but holy shit its replayability was TERRIBLE.
Doesn't even come close to the Borderlands 2 grind fun.
This was a better game, Hansome Jack was such a great antagonist

Too much effort. Use a trainer.
Is ultimate worth it or is base game enough? Asking those who have ultimate.
It comes down to if you plan on playing 100% including side quest and if you've done that with borderlands1 or 2 then you might as well complete your collection
I gave in and purchased the ultimate edition, mainly for the new skill trees and the DLC.
I main FL4K, it's good to have a new pet (a motified Hyperion cargo/loading bot with a sniper rifle!)
And might start playing Moss the Gunner, coz the new skill tree turns your Moss into a pet class which is awesome!
DLCs are good to have but not necessary, the base game is good enough already (especially for the price of $8.99, it's a no brainer pruchase.)
