      I would say most of the upgrades are more vídeo focused
      Though, the rotating screen is pretty helpful for lower level shots
      I agree with the guy before, if not doing videos
      Go for a new lens

    The amount of fighting I've had to do with Sony and Cashrewards from a purchase back in November makes me wary of even bothering again in the future.

        Pretty much the same right here.

        Didnt track, despite Cashrewards showing the clicks. I took screenshots of the click times and then my bank transaction of the $4K+ to Sony, which matched up.

        Manually showing just short of $500 cashback but theres been no update since they did that and I got the feeling that it was going to go poorly.

        I wouldnt recommend Cashrewards when after Sony gear.

        When you preorder is the money paid Instantly and the tax invoice dated to today or is it dated to the shipping date in the future? Going overseas in May so wondering if I can preorder and get both the cash back and GST.

          The order is paid for instantly but the tax invoice is generated when they dispatch the order, so the date on the invoice is the shipping date.

          E.g. Buy and pay for Sony A7IV on 23/11 and if it ships on 30/11 then a shipping notification and PDF invoice dated 30/11 will be sent on 30/11.

      Sounds good. I'm still waiting on a price match from a GG deal last week on a 85X90k, hopefully Sony approves it today:
      $3,325.50 price matched - 12% CB - $100 Amex
      = $2,826

      Not 100% sure CB allow this but can't see any issues with it in T&C

      Should I use my Coles credit card instead though? So I can claim a drop in price over the next two years.

      Do you think these TVs would ever drop much lower than this or would they just go out of stock before that?

              @realironyuppie: Sony rejected it after many days waiting. Referring to their T&C's exclusions on flash sales and use of coupon codes. I requested them to review it again stating that I hadn't ever been rejected before any long time customer. They then approved it.

                @OldBugger: Timely, given the 12% CB kicked in after. I've put in a request to match Costco in store price but the CB will likely be over by the time I hear back. Never done a price match that cant be done via chat. Odd system.

      Got the 75" X90J in april last year on sale for $1,979, honestly feels like a steal still, if you can get it for $2,271 I wouldn't hesitate tbh! That was a student deal that they took down quickly because of insane demand, so I doubt you'll find a price lower than what you currently have anytime soon (for the X90K)

    I just ordered a Sony A7IV on the website and Cashreward already tracked the purchase. This is how I did it in case some is worried about the process:

    1. Open a 'Guest' tab on chrome
    2. Go to cashreward's website and login to your account.
    3. Go to sony.com.au, login to your sony account as usual if you have a price matched item
    4. Check out - done!

    I got my $314 cashback tracked within 10min (i.e. received email confirmation from CR about the purchase). Good luck!

        You don't have to wait for the price match if you have a Sony account. Chat with the rep and they will change the price of the item in your cart. So it's done in realtime actually

          Yeah I used to be able to do this, now they tell me to place in a request via the form. I have followed up on chat a few times now and they say it is being handled by the price match team. Maybe with TVs it has changed?

            @OldBugger: Your experience has been the same as mine for cameras. Don't think the chat team has updated my cart for cameras in real time ever and always referred it to the price match team. I've had one or two times where my cart updated a few minutes after talking to them but typical experience is 1-3 days now (maybe a year ago it was usually a few hours)

    I submitted price match requests directly from the products store pages, rather than adding to cart first and then submitting the request.

    I've not price matched with Sony before. Would the above method still work or would I have needed to add to cart first? (just going off steps i saw on a previous Ozbargain post that said to add to cart, after I had already submitted request)

          Yeh but if knowing cash rewards, it will show up with the click but not the actual tracking of the purchase. They did that with my apple and now with my Sony. Click is there, no purchase details. Will probably need to lodge a claim after 5business days

      Stays until you delete it. If you have multiple items matched and you want to buy one, then it gets hard. You'll need to choose what you want and delete the other
