Buy from ebay $129 and claim $20 Master gift cards.
    plus 5 year warrant.

  • Thanks, got one of the 2TBs.

Not quite the top tier black SN850 but still good nevertheless

Gigabyte Aorus is also a good alternative to the 2TB unit. $249 at Scorptec and Amazon currently.
Very slightly slower but has triple the TBW warranty of the SN770. Not hugely useful difference for most but still nice to have

    Read up to 5,000MB/s
    Write up to 4,400MB/s
    IOPS R/W up to 750/700K
    1.77M Hours MTBF, 3,600TBW
    Fully Body Copper Heat Spreader

The "Only x left in stock" is misleading. I've been looking at them for a while, the numbers change and they never go out of stock so keep that in mind if you get FOMO.

  • $264 for 2TB :( it's good, but nope, time to hold firm.

    • You can get a gigabyte equivalent with similar speed and higher TBW rating and a heatsink for $249

    • +2

It was $218 when the deal was posted.

  • Still waiting for previous delivery ;(

    • Bought 02/02
      Still hasn’t shipped.
Tried cancelling several times on mobile/app. Just returned to same page without result. Tried last night on desktop, and says it can’t, cos it’s about to ship (?!)

Just so you guys all know, I just did some googling.

Just today in USA, P5 Plus 2TB, $123 USD shipped was on sale.
Also the WD 850X was on sale at $160

    See this thread:
    https://www.reddit.com/r/PS5/comments/116ht17/crucial_p5_plu…

Seems like it's a smart time to just hold a bit longer for that sub $200 AUD one which is actually full spec'd to PS5.

hope the discount come to AU sooner, need 2x 512 for 918+ NAS and a 1TB or 2TB for system disk - thanks to old aged iTune does not allow user to back up iPhone to any other folder/patitions.

      • Yeah I nearly caved on this deal but once I find that thread from only today, sounds like it's very close now

Once you add GST to it and then do a currency conversion, it is around $195.70 for P5 Plus. It's still a good deal.

SN850X, after GST + conversion is $255. You can find that deal on Amazon AU now for $257. It's $2 more, but I don't think $2 is a huge problem. Don't forget Harvey Tax (GST on international items).

      • I’ve never done it. But I remember the concept from years gone by.

    • Just fyi, I nabbed the Crucial P5 Plus for $198.08 at that time. I got the last one in stock.

      • +1

I missed it! :( Well done, that's my threshold

  • The 2TB version makes no sense when you can get sn850x for 257.

    • Unless all the WD AU $20 rebates have been claimed, it doesn't make sense to get SN770 from Amazon at the moment. With a $20 eGift Card, effectively $99 for 1TB, $239 for 2TB SN770 from local sellers. SN770 2TB doesn't quite make sense (the price needs to drop further) even $239.

The 2TB was $218 when the deal was posted.

  • any m.2 2230 deal anyone?

    • Guessing you just bought a steam deck? Did you know there's an M.2 2280 you can buy and very carefully cut down to 2230 and it works fine? Check on steam deck reddit.

      • Woah first time heard that, could you pm me the link? Thanks

        • I'm not sure, I don't have one, if you google steam deck cut m2 Reddit, you'll find some threads. Quite a few people did it
