Or $7.50 to a parcel pick-up point (generally another store).

Scroll down the list, shoes at $15 each…. or 3 for $50. Real Bargain!

As soon as it's 3 or more it goes to $16.66 each. Ordered mixed set of 4 pairs for $80 delivered to go with the boots last week, thanks OP!

  • I don't think there's a better deal than getting the boots for free from the last deal

Boots came in last Friday. It was in the op shop by Saturday.

      How charitable! 😄

We ordered a bunch of stuff from them about 12 months ago, multiple missing items, multiple emails sent the items were never received.

Would not buy from them, thats just my experience of them, your milage may vary.

    • Yeah, they're disorganised. But that can work to your advantage too 😉

can confirm - bought a pair of light cotton pants for around the house a couple of years ago. 5 arrived.

We have had horrible experience with their online store purchase. Only a couple of items arrived. We were waiting for 3-4 months for an update on the remaining items. Their customer service was terrible, they didn’t even reply when requested to refund. I had to do it through PayPal eventually. Never again!

  • I've never heard of this brand. I am guessing that's for a reason?

    • Used to be a retail store

      • +2

Still some retail stores kicking about - we have one here on the Sunshine Coast.

        • Two: Maroochydore + Caloundra.

      • Still is. I haven't heard of them closing stores. If anything, they've expanded! Their product lines certainly!! They didn't use to sell airfryers and lounges (I wouldn't buy these there either).

There are over 100 physical stores across Australia. At least 47 in Victoria

  • What I've always wanted, shoe pairs! I've been buying only left shoes this whole time.

  • thanks OP…

  • Got items in cart, going through paypal, the price revert to normal price.
Looks like the sale has finished.

The original Rivers went bankrupt. The Rivers of today is more like your dollar store. Except that your dollar store has cheaper items, better quality and actual customer service. See also: MG motors.

    • Was surprised to see they're now like a marketplace, selling everything from headphones to greenhouses.

      • seems to be the way all these brands are now. Was surprised when i bought an air fryer from myer only to realise its from their marketplace. Everywhere has to have one now just like everywhere has to have a paid subscription service :(.

    • +1

Their website seems to be taken over by marketplace sellers but the retail stores are different, the stuff in there is actually quality. Bought some pants from there the other day, 98% Cotton / 2% Elastane made in Bangladesh for $65. Most other places these days just peddle cotton / polyester blends made in China.

    • At that price point the adage "you get what you pay for" applies in a very pronounced manner.

  • 3 x 15 = 45$ ?

  • Granny Thelma called, she wants her shoes back!

  • none of the shoes in size 8 seem to be actual leather, if that's something you are looking for.

  • are they comfortable?

I wouldn't deal with Rivers online. Just got my purchase cancelled after over 1 week wait for no reason. Waste of time.

  • I commented on the decline of Rivers Clothing here:

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/748574

It has an appalling business & customer care model, IMO.

Dodgy order process. Did free click and collect. Was asked for address in case orders were not in stock. Then charged for delivery. Paypal screen said confirm on next screen, but Rivers just completed transaction. Have sent query, but have feeling credit card chargeback will be required.

Isn't this the "Mosaic" brand? I have bought a lot from them online - mostly clothes, but bedding as well. Never really had a problem. Had to return some items that didn't fit, but took them to Jacquie-O local store and they issued credit.

    • Yes, it's Rivers holding co.

  • Are these shoes 'final sale' items? As two out of the three pairs i bought don't fit. Reading their return policy it seems final sale items are not refundable.

    • +1

Definitely not refundable, but I managed to swap sizes at a store (even to slightly different styles). And that was purchasing through Catch, which made the swap process even less smooth (as order numbers didn't match across systems). I'd imagine it'd be a little easier with purchases on their own website. Good luck finding sizes of sale items, though.

      • +1

Thanks for sharing your experience. I will try my luck in store to swap to something. Fingers crossed.

My order arrived today, got everything except one pair which they had already refunded. The leathersoft and riversoft womens shoes are all quite comfortable.
