        I suppose YMMV but I've tried them once and they hurt. The leather is also extremely low quality to the point that if you've got a keen eye you can spot it's bad from 10m away, but that's only if you're into that sort of stuff really.

        Also yes Young Libs in Fin will laugh that you didn't spend $600

      There is a size chart in the photos, including length measurement which I presume is for the foot. This is what I usually go by (I don't buy shoes online if this is not included in the chart) and it has worked pretty well for me.

      Rivers sizes are AU/UK. I have found Rivers boot sizing to be a little more generous compared to other brands, such that I would wear thick socks with the Rivers boots and thin socks with Julius Marlow boots of the same size.

    They had lots of $20 clearance shoes in store over the weekend, so I bought one of their premium leather sandles. Very uncomfortable with hard leather that requires socks to be worn otherwise it pinches. Outer sole makes a knocking noise on floor while walking, and my foot slides inside as the inner sole is slippery.

    I have a pair of the Goodyear welted tan boots. I don't wear them often, but they are holding up OK. The reason I don't wear them often is that they are heavy in the soles, and it ended up hurting my shins having to walk in them.

    For the price, I've ordered a pair of the black ones and some of the barefoot ones. Can always return.

      I too have a pair of the Goodyear welted boots. They are a chunky boot, but they are wearing very well years into mostly daily wear.

      Have had multiple compliments on them too.

    I've got a pair of the black Chelsea boots, in case I need a pair of black shoes (very rare, will almost always wear brown). They do the job, although as mentioned above the leather is pretty hard. Not sure if that will wear in OK.

    Got 1 today, smaller size fits me fine,

        I just did that yesterday (with the ones I got thru Catch, as the eBay offer was pulled halfway through my purchase). But it wasn't smooth. The manager kept saying "yeah, sure, pick whatever you like, and we'll credit the price you paid on these against them." Yeah, right! At the end, I got what I wanted, even replacing the ones I got online with similars, when the exact same wasn't available on another size.
