    Thanks!

Bought and now I have my kid's 6th or 7th year present sorted - he's currently 4 years.

Are you going to open it up, build it, play with it in secret for a a few months, then pack up and re-gift? lol

I did the same when mine was 3 :/ actually there's 3 lego train sets waiting for him… Yes I have a problem.

I'll get it out when he's 5 i think. He won't build it but he'll play with it.

But i think i like this one the most out of all of them. Shame i don't need 4 train sets :p

    • Can confirm built similar one together with 4.5 yo amd he plays with it no problems. Be prepared for him to put things on the track and crash into them though :)

Hobby Warehouse also have it at the same price (assuming they’re the same parent company)? And I saw someone else had it for $209

  • the locomotive is good, the rest is trash, the carriages are very basic

Those with CommBank should check their rewards for additional savings.

I can get $10 cashback from Toys R Us if I spend $50 or more. Expires tomorrow, though.

  • Thank you to the OP, just bought one for my 7 year old. And before you say it, Yes, i would live to take it out, but prolly get caught doing it :)

  • These train sets are good value at $199, however they have such long retirement years, on average around 5 years. So if you are not in a hurry I will wait it goes 50% off before I buy one.
