Authenticity of Branded Goods

I was wondering if anyone knew about this shop where Lindt has their shop in the city? it's in some little walkway on Collins St and sells Versace amongst other branded goods. Was wondering :

logically speaking, they couldn't be able to set up shop if they weren't legit / real in the city
but then they don't come with any proper boutique packaging , and literally seem as if they fell off the back of a truck or at least are packaged in warehouse styled material with their respective branded logos..

so i was wondering if anyone knew if these goods were proper or if anyone knew anything about em

thanks in advance!

  • I haven't seen it but it sounds suss.

Don't assume just because it is in the city makes it legit.

I've seen a stall in a huge shopping centre flogging fake Playboy stuff before.

  • Pay particular attention to the quality.
Also, if they prices look too good to be true, 98 times out of 100 they are (in Australia anyway. I can't believe how much they try to make us pay for luxury goods. It is ridiculous).

    • Why don't you buy overseas then and have someone send it to you here?
