Imagine how many games you could buy instead of paying premium for a 30/40 series card now. Prices have been going UP not down… dunno wtf is going on!
Inflation
The cards were coming down to $750 for a 3070ti and $1050 for a 3080 when the 40series came out. Now they have gone back up to their old price of $950 and $1300. Inflation doesn't work like that….. otherwise you'd see a massive margin on every other component. Nvidia is getting too greedy imo.
They don't have any competitors so they just set ridiculous prices
@Fury96: I'm hoping Intel stay in the gpu game because nvidia and amd need some competition. Intel don't have to target the #1 spot for most powerful, if they focus on the mid-range they could take the market.
As far as the gpu market is atm, i think a LOT of people will be holding onto their hard earned $$ and wait for the next series.

I feel violated after going through the redemption process for this. Forced to login with facebook, then still need to provide all your info, invoice, part no, serial no, photo of the card itself. yeesh.
