I have these and they are kinda average to be honest. My least favourite sock in the drawer
I have the same sentiment.
Same experience, I found only the merino wool socks to be long lasting ones. Others just keep getting holes in them (even these adidas/puma ones too), especially the kmart/bigW HEAVY DUTY ones (crap duty honestly)
Being sick of getting holes in the socks, I only buy merino wool socks now ( yeah a bit too hot in summer, but at least they last ages).
Costs like $25-30 ish for 6 pair on eBay
I bought a few merino wool socks. But they were very uncomfortable in the summer. Thinking of giving them another go when the winter is close.
@Schrodinger: Just get a decent brand and clip ya toe nails more regularly and can't see an issue lol.
Shouldn't need Merino anything, especially not in summer.
I almost never get holes in socks, and when i do it's generally because they're really old socks ive worn 200 or 300 times. Even then, often the elastic goes or they just get too thin.
Are your feet really pointy or something? Maybe i'm just lucky with socks (pity it couldn't have been the lotto).

@sussdamuss: marino is a specific type of sheep breed, like how manuka is a type of honey. I cant remember on top of my head either Australian or NZ sheep, i thnk its aussie

Sure, they're super expensive. But I have socks from 2018 that I've done 1000kms in and still are fine.

they will produce the adidas quantity ordered, then switch it to nike, the under armour, etc….
These are so thin. Not even worth it at $7.50 imo. Just go to Kmart instead if you’re shopping within that budget

Seems only black ones in small size ie 5.5-8 are discounted.Don’t bother with these if you are a runner. Cotton socks + summer heat don’t mix well.

Blends of nylon, lyrcra or even wool. Usually anti-wick socks are good. Aldi sports socks are actually good. Otherwise under armour, Saucony on Amazon or puma.
Black is available in size 5. Unless you’re an elf, white is the only choice.

Yeah these aren't great from my experience. I do like the Adidas cushioned socks though. I usually grab them when they're on sale.
