Price match JB hi-fi. Got it for even cheaper with JB perks registered with my brand new boost number bought for -$2. Big brain.

Thanks for sharing that JB price match Amazon. I was not aware of this.😁

    • +1

I can't even login to jbhifi, the login page keeps refreshing and then fails. Anyone else?

      • +1

        same, they have some issue.

Thanks for the heads up. Managed to price match this morning before Amazon changed their price but couldn't log in to create a new perks account for some reason. Luckily the price match link is valid for 24 hrs and the website seems to have been fixed now so just bought it for $1.97.

So this is for fabric not the face?

    • +1

      Yes.

  • yeah paid 15 bucks 2 yrs back

    • how is it holding up?

does it also remove general lint from clothes?

      • and from carpets?

      • Still in the box. It was a case of "buy now think later" purchase, aka impulse buy.

      • i wouldn't say general lint, but definitely works on pills. i've had mine for a year and use it almost once a week.

        • pills?

          • @ayad: tangled clothing fibers. those pesky dots all over your clothes after a couple of uses.

  • +1

This thing is stupid but also stupidly useful :) I didn't think I would need such a thing until I got one

  • use as shaver

  • An upvote from me. I bought one about a year ago, paid a little more but it's excellent. Brings new life into clothes that have pilled.

  • Works well, makes older clothes look much better

  • +2

I'm not going to say this changed my life but wearing clothes out with pilling and those ugly bobbles of fuzz is now part of my past.

  • Pilled as in lint?

  • Would this work to fix up couches/chairs with loose fibres pulled out by scratching cats?

    • Works great for that. Make sure to empty the little container that collects the lint as it fills up quickly when I used it on my couch

    • Yes, this works amazing on the couch and i have 3 cats.

    • I bought one for this reason only a month ago and honestly I've been disappointed. It isn't nearly a close enough shave.

  • This device has saved many of my clothing items that I thought I'd never wear out again.

    • +1

I stop wearing my clothes only when they have holes in them.

  • +2

Fun to use, and weirdly satisfying seeing clothes with no pills

  • Now $17 at Amazon, just missed out :(

  • Now $16 at Amazon, so looks like they've matched Myer's new 20%-off price.

  • Bought it during last deal. Still in the box unopened

  • Aaaand Amazon is sold out entirely now.

  • Bought one from Bunnings, and it works well. Thought I could get this one because mine seems bit blunt, but it is back to $15.95. Will wait until the price drop again or mine broken. Very useful device - esp. because I'm wearing knitwear quite often.

  • Amazon got stock in again at $16, so finally jumped on it so I can go back to work :P
