Dick Smith is doing up to 25% off on Toshiba laptops and tablets. This looks a good price for a decent 10' tablet to me.

Aka the Toshiba Thrive. It's a year old with the sub-par tegra 2 chip. Also as far as I can find out, it's still on honeycomb with multiple delays in getting ICS it may never get an official ics build.

Asus TF101 can be had for around the same price and is a better option.

You do get an SDHC card reader, full-size HDMI and USB with the Toshiba though. It's a decent tablet for the price, but it is a bit harder to remove fingerprints from the screen, and it does have a bit of weight to it.

Huge clunky tablet. Really nothing that good about it. Only get it for the ports.

re ICS i spoke to a tech @ toshiba last time this tablet was reduced, assume there is not going to be ICS and you shouldn't get too upset :S
