Yakpay for Personal Bills

I know you need an ABN to use Yakpay, however are there any implications if I sign up to Yakpay and use it exclusively for paying personal bills to help with FF point accumulation?
I have an ABN but do not use it for anything currently. (Employed full-time)

Cheers.

  • so far I haven't got into any trouble yet.

  • Can you use beem it for bpay? you still get points

    • I haven't used Beem before. Looks like it might be a better alternative for me. No charges either.
Have you tried it with a few different credit cards to see if they all pay out the points?

beem doesnt allow credit cards to be added

      • I have 2 credit cards in my beem it account right now.

Good luck opening an account with just an unused ABN….

  • Yes its fine they haven't bat an eyelid at me and I also used a pretty much dormant ABN. The only expenses going through are personal.

    • How did you complete the verification without a trading business?

      • The business registered under the ABN is the trading business. Regardless if it's actively being used or not, as long as it's registered and kept active with the Australian Business Register it's an active and valid ABN.

        • From memory they requested utility bills with business name and address for verification, plus personal kyc docs

      • TBH I don't remember needing to share anything other than the setup docs
