    There's free large upsize going around as well…not bad, but $10 for 30 nugs sound good.

      yeah I agree, once in a while Maccas targets $8 for 18 nugs + 2 large fries. That's good value for money.

        Imo they are two completely different things.
        Maccas are a tempura-style nugget
        KFC is the more traditional breaded-style nugget

        Both are good in their own right.

      Yep, they are 10x better when leftovers are reaheated in an oven/air fryer for a few minutes to get them crispy.

      I agree. The batter in my last box was of the consistency of thin oily soaked sun damaged fake leather. They need to at least go in an air fryer before consumption.

      I think that's an everyone deal. I have that and free upsize of boxed meal. It's a shame you don't seem to be able to get cola ones for the 8 for $8, I liked them more than I expected to.

          FWIW Maccas nuggets, whilst unhealthy, are surprisingly better from a macronutrient perspective than nuggets from coles/woolies/etc. and their protein:calorie ratio is higher than the majority of items on the menu (an obviously very low bar).

    KFC nuggets always seem to be soggy whereas Macca's ones are also crispy. Ironic the burger shop ones are better than the chicken shop ones.

      Probably has to do with the way they are stored after cooking. KFC use food warmers which have water in them encouraging moisture whereas Macca's ones don't use water.

            @alamodey: Unethical life tip: if you ask for sauces at the last drive through window (with a $2 coin ready), they sometimes give it to you for free.

            Best case = free sauces, worst case = you pay for it.
