The more portions the cheaper, I believe you can get the portion costs down to ~$5, the $6.12 in the title is just the max you'll pay with a lower portion option, so it can only get cheaper depending on your portion/frequency selection.

Keep in mind you could be better off requesting a referral code from the Marley Spoon ozb store page.

      There is only more value if you stick with the service. Most people here prefer to just get a free box up front and then cancel the service.

              @mar627: It's the same deal for all referrals, I believe. It's pitched as "a free box plus 25% off your next three" but the first "free" box is actually $88 off + free shipping.

              The terms for the referrals are:

              *Invite offer is valid for up to $88 off the first order, plus 25% off the recipient's second, third and fourth boxes after that, and for selected plans only. If applied to other plans, the difference in cost will be applied to the transaction. Offer does not include delivery costs ($10.49) on box 2, 3 and 4.
