That is a good deal, but it is not a micro sdhc, just a standard sdhc card.

      • Yeah you're right. My apology. Your deal kills competitors by $7+. Nice work OP.

        • To be fair their URL does imply it is a micro, but apparently it is not based on the image.

        • Exactly. That's why I thought it was the SDHC not Micro. My apologies :)

        • All good!

thanks i wanted a full size SD and only now realised this deal was for micro. then moots posted that link and i saved a couple dollars x 5 cards anyway cheers moots :)

  • is the PNY brand any good, I've never heard of it??

    • PNY is Paris, New York. They are big in the states.

    • This card barely scrapes through the class 10 threshold, and the random writes are crap.
      http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1582172

      • Looking at that list, it would appear that it is the 3rd fastest 32GB card tested by write speed. You have to remember that there is a trade off between random and sustained write. That is why you will find class 4 cards with higher random write speeds than class 10 sometimes.

        http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/microsdhc-memory-card-pe…

This is a pretty good roundup, although it doesn;t include the PNY card unfortunately.

        • You have to remember that there is a trade off between random and sustained write.

NOT anymore, the Samsung 32GB C10 was the first to get the balance right, then more recently the since SanDisk ultras have blown everything else out of the water.

It's probably fortunate the the pny wasn't in that toms test, because in those graphs it would be at the bottom of all of them against that range of cards.

For the extra $5 it's much better to get the SanDisk ultra C10

        • Based on the results you originally posted it would be in the middle it looks like. Maybe we have a different definition of bottom ;)

        • Oh, I thought you were selectively comparing against other 32GB cards like before, in which case this PNY is at the bottom.

        • Haha, ok well there were only 2 32GB cards in that test so if you just compare 32GB results it beats one and loses to the other, again an interesting definition of bottom. And if you want to selectively compare against the class 10 cards, it still beats out the KIngston. But at the end of the day as I am sure you are aware comparing results from different test environments is pretty dicey. It may have done even worse in the toms setup than the posted result on whirlpool…

Not sure if they are related. But they may also make fridges aswell? http://dicksmith.com.au/product/HS5003/pye-116l-stainless-st…

I seen that deal today; If that's the case. I guess they must be decent if DSE is buying from them.

    • That's PYE, this is PNY.

    • You're really confusing me now…

  • Thanks for the deal Rep! Plus, was just wondering if you got my message. I have not had a reply for a few days. Cheers.

    • Was it an email? If so we have replied to everyone who has emailed recently. Can you resend it please?

      • Just sent a reply again, thanks for your assistance :)

        • Replied.

        • Thanks again!

  • Rep - What about free shipping with 32G USB3.0 $23. +$1 more than last time?

    • Oops - free shipping does work for this as well. Thanks Rep.

      • Yep free shipping will work on any item on the site. Unfortunately flash memory prices have gone up in the last week, hence why we are still waiting on the next 8GB deal.

        • Was thinking of 1 of each, 32GB usb2 and 32gb usb3. What the heck for another $6 more, 2 usb3s. Thanks Rep, was waiting all week for this.
