Samsung QA55LS03BAWXXY 55" The Frame QLED 4K Smart TV [2022] is currently $499 off current RRP$1615 (31% off) at JB Hi-Fi. The RRP end of 2022 was $2095 (47% off).

Best price I've seen it for this TV from a retailer (non-seconds, factory outlet).

Mine is still in its box purchased in December $1279 from GG for our renos, so haven't been able to use it to review. The 65" is similar price now for what I paid for my 55" Samsung The Frame 65" - $1276

Also note for those looking at other sizes the 55" and larger has higher motion rate at 200Hz, than the 50" and less TVs which are at 100Hz ……(I had to check a few places to cross references as some stores were conflicting on their spec tables). This is the main difference beside price. Note the 50" is $1195 which seems odd so don't say you weren't warned.

    Have the 2022 55" serif which is also matt but not as textured.

    Not as showy as an OLED but has been really good in bright living space.
    Qled colours strong and processing makes sd tv watchable.

    OLED is really flattening tv prices.

      It has normal stands too so don't have to mount on wall if you're happy with the look.

      Or go fancy and put on a painting easel.

        Yeah love this tv look as painting, not standing. In does require cables planted inside the wall right.. and yeah apartment walls nowdays are just piece of gypsum

          You only have to put the cable behind the wall if you want to hide it…..it's translucent so it's less noticeable than a black cable.

          Or a suggestion i've seen is to run it to the side of the TV then have a flower vase or something to the side that covers the cord as it goes to the floor.

          Following up, was looking at quick start guide and the cable can run along back of TV and the stand leg allows cable to run along it so if you use the TV stand legs, this will also hide the cable easily.

    Have a look at this in store before buying. Our friends have the 65" version and there is no confusing it for artwork.

    Also, power usage isn't negligible in Art mode, especially as you go up from 55"

        They gave me one after a warranty issue but after fighting with them over a faulty TV for a couple of months I would not touch a Samsung again. Great TV's very poor warranty experience. Decided to go LG.

      The Teak coloured Samsung Basic one, is mile above any other colour and your life would be poorer if you chose any other colour.

      But seriously, the basic one is flat front edged and the chamfer one, the front facing edge angles down. It's just a matter of what preference of colour and style you want to fit into the space you have. They all attach and function the same.

      Check the reddit link above for examples of different placings. Someone even painted one if you feel inclined.
