Mrs had one of these with LTE 40mm battery life was horrible sold it and got the watch 5 44mm LTE much much much better battery life.
Have two LTE Watch 5's. 40mm and 44mm. The 40mm is horrific. The 44mm, which is 1.44x the capacity get's significantly better use - +24hrs untethered. There's something wrong with the 40mm. It should be, using the 1.44 battery capacity ratio, getting up to 19hrs of untethered use (to 15% battery remaining). It's the opposite. It's horrific. Gets between 8hrs and 10hrs. Taking it in to Samsung on Monday. Store manager is aware and has pledged to assist.
Do you recall how many hours they were getting from the LTE 40mm? I have the 2018 one and it still works fine, but I need to charge it every day.
Only about 3-4hrs with LTE on if she was lucky and it would heat up and turn off. We sent it to samsung under warranty and they said it was "working as per manufacturer standards"
"working as per manufacturer standards" … this is what makes me so bloody angry about the whole situation. ACCC states it's got to be fit for purpose. It's absolutely not, in those terms. Expecting another blood pressure elevating engagement on my situation to be honest.

If you want to have the stress to charge your battery, buy this. Sold mine and purchased Garmin. Best choice
Weren't these about $180 at the end of last year - Amazon and JB Hifi priced at $195, but then Perks and OfficeWorks Price Beat brought the price right down, iirc.
I returned an unopened one to OfficeWorks after reading the reviews for a refund. $187, I think.

Watch 5 Bluetooth 40mm is at 299 at Samsung edu store.
Samsung website prices the watch only for $290 and then when you pickup the band colour to match the watch it goes up to $349, but if you choose differetn band colour it's $290
