Was looking at these a couple days ago and checked again today. Now on sale. Cheapest I've seen so far. I have the older G502 wireless. Only complaint was the DPI buttons being right where you left click.

  • I have the wired version and it's…..OK. The wheel feels cheap / loose and nothing like the premium feel of the MX Master's one.

Hopefully the new switches hold up - too early to tell.

Still overpriced IMO, but plenty of people really like the shape.

    • I had a g500s which I absolutely loved, and then the g502 superseded it so I got that and it was excellent. Then I got a g604 to try wireless and it felt like a downgrade. However, as I used it over the years, I learnt to utilise every single mouse button for most apps and games and now I can't live without it. I bought the wireless g502 lightspeed a few months ago and I immediately missed my 6 thumb buttons. I then went to work with reducing the weight to about 104g (required 3d printing and a full teardown ot the mouse and pulling apart the rubberised grips etc). I'm really cut that the 604 is discontinued with no successor. Anyway, I don't know where I'm going with this anecdote. I think it had something to do with how expensive it is for what it is.

  • Does anyone have this mouse as well as the G Pro Superlight?
    How do they compare?

I don’t have this one but I have tbe superlight. It’s…. superlight. Like a piece of paper lmao. Extremely light

      I prefer G502 Lightspeed

    • more bottons vs less weight

  • Mouse body is nice, same with clicks but yeah that wheel is kinda (profanity). Non infinite is too slow and infinite is too quick

  • was $155 before

  • Still a ridiculous price though

  • I have both the wired G502 and wired G502x. The x is noticeably lighter. The buttons on the x have a very metallic and cheap sounding click comparatively. The price of weight reduction I suppose. I still like both.

They go cheaper than this quite regularly.

Got mine a couple of months ago for $130 on ebay.
