Not sure about the $ to m2 equation, but a manufacturer could make any claim for the area covered - it depends how well filtered you want the air. You could put the same machine in a bathroom or hall and say it’s ‘covered’ or filtered. So comparing this to one that claims better coverage is meaningless.
I’m more concerned there is no mention of filter replacements or their cost.
BTW. - I have a Coway bidet toilet seat and it’s very good quality.
This model looks to be for a different region as if you look at the Coway AU site this doesn't show up.
COWAY AIRMEGA 400 is up to 176 m² for $750 at Amazon so not sure why this is good.
