Medion Akoya P6635 (MD 98068) Notebook, 15.6", i7, NvidiaGT 630M, 750GB for $799 for First 100 Customers

40

From PCWorld Article: (The MEDION MD 98068) it's a laptop that packs plenty of power at a low price; it can be used for gaming in addition to regular office work and Web browsing. Its hard drive, screen and touchpad could be better, but considering what you get overall for $899, it's hard to complain too much.

And the first 100 single unit orders are at a discounted price for AUS $799; postage $15.

Just ordered mine by emailing [email protected], $799 plus $15 shipping. Will post once I get my unit.

Would much prefer this deal offered by Acer: http://factoryoutlet.acer.com.au/afo/index.php/aspire-s3-951…

    2nd Gen i5 new series S3 Ultrabook. 500GB Sata + 20GB SSD (2.5second Start-up) $699 Delivered.

It's refurbished. But with warranty and optional 2 year extra warranty for $149.00 = +$50 but you get super thin display; and 7 hour battery life. (Considering you purchase additional warranty) if not you're off by $100!

  • Postage included or extra or unknown?

  • "$799 for 100"

    Should probably rephrase that.

        actually $7.99 :)

        • I can't see how it needs rephrasing:

          "$799 for 100 First Orders"

          seems pretty clear to me.

I would prefer the Lenovo E530 with slightly better specs for that price. http://shopap.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/auweb/Leno…

  • Received my unit yesterday , very fast shipment by courier. Very surprised and impressed with the machine, no issues running Battlefield. If you can still get one for $799 I would recommend it no questions asked.
