    This is the Zen 3 Ryzen. Similar to 5850U with Vega8.

    6000 series (Zen3+) has ryzen 7 has 680M iGPU that performs much better. Or 780M in the new 7000 ryzen 7 chip - Zen 4).

        It doesnt. OP and the link i have posted are both Ryzen7 7730U.

        But the 7730u is a rebadged 5000 series ryzen 7.

    Is it possible to add more RAM to this machine? Asus website (https://au.store.asus.com/vivobook-15-oled-m1505ya-ma263w.ht…) said "Max Total system memory up to:16GB". I am hoping to replace the 8GB RAM stick with a 32GB RAM stick to future proof it, but I am afraid it might not work.

      For this price, it's mid-tier - neither too small (MSI Modern) or above average (Lenovo 16" models)

      Ryzen is energy efficient so as long you're not looping 4K HDR videos with the OLED display at max brightness, battery life will be fine

      7730U is basically a low powered 5700G so check YouTube for FPS benchmark videos of the 5700G to confirm performance with your games
