The first and only Ricotta Festival in Australia is back again, bigger and better!

This unique event will feature huge vats of fresh hot ricotta, Italian food and drinks pop-ups, a local producer marketplace, entertainment for the whole family and kids activities.

Music and live stage performances by Grupo Vallenato Cumva Band, Tarantella Dancers and Italian disco tunes by DJ Stefano Marciano.

The little ones will be kept busy with a petting farm and a mobile play centre.

The Carlton Football Club Fan Van will also be joining in the festivities this year.

  The Avalon Airshow, Moomba, F1 and now the Ricotta festival… March really is full of big events in Melbourne.

  I was reading how these events amongst others, help to generate economic benefits of about 2.5 billion into the Victorian economy.

  TBH thought, when I went to the link there wasn't much mention of Ricotta cheese… It seems to be a food festival called 'Ricotta'…
  I was thinking it would have just Ricotta, the different styles of it, different recipes featuring the cheese etc…
