Thanks! This was the first time I had a solid go at a Metroid game and was very impressed

Hopefully they will do Metroid Zero Mission too as that is a cracker of a game.

I played the heck of of Zero and Fusion on my Gamecube and now via HDMI on a bigger screen will be awesome

Can we buy this individually or do you have to have the premium monthly sub?

    • Need the sub

Classic Nintendo…at least Sony let me buy Legend of Dragoon without needing the deluxe sub

    • Wii U is the only console you can buy GBA games to keep on your console but you only have until end of March before E Shop closes.

      • Such a Nintendo decision to not release GBA VC on the 3DS. They already had a working emulator, which they gave to 3DS early adopters through the Ambassador Program.

        • It wasn't flawless though. From memory you had to shut down the console completely rather than exiting the game?

@AnonyL: Nope, they worked like any other VC game, though I think they lacked save states.

            • @dano: Ah yep that's right. I knew there was something different though!

Nice to see them adding to the library so soon after launch

      20 years? Yeah, soooo generous..

  • Played it on Wii U recently but the emulation is so good on NSO so I'm keen for another playthrough.

NSO is good except for the grey crap on the sides of the screen you can't hide. With you could just make it black bars

      • +1

Having black bars would greatly benefit the OLED Switch. It's baffling they don't have an option for it.

  • Great game.

GBA emulation is really good if you don't have access to NSO, also check out Zero Mission and the Castlevania games.

    • If you're on a gba platformer spree, check out megaman zero series as well. Peak of the gba to me, turns the small screen into an immersive hack and slash platformer. Zero 3 is the highlight.

  • Really hope they add zero mission as well. I'd be surprised if many people have the patience to get through the original these days, mainly due to lack of map.
