    Sound Blaster was the Sound Card from heaven about two decades ago when beeps coming from tiny speaker was considered music.

      You forgot about between the original Sound Blaster and the PC beeper, there's also AdLib with just the synth. In fact Creative Labs developed Sound Blaster to be backward compatible to AdLib cards (+ extras) to steal the market. You'll find the history on Wikipedia

      I agree the postage is very high, but if you can pick up (which to be fair, I can't) then they're selling these at 16% less than MSY. In the computer world, 16% is a big difference. As for postage, well with p&p it's only marginally more expensive than MSY (which is pickup)… so if MSY were to charge p&p (which many ppl would need because they might not be near an MSY) they'd probably still be more.

    You can always ask MSY to price match. They gave me a price match on the netgear WPN824 router for $59 (listed as $82).
