Got mine filled with olive oil, occasionally it just won't spray. Only fix I've found is to just leave it for a while and try again later haha.

But other than that it's been very good, and others on the last deal highly rated it

    • yep - handy - I used our yesterday to spray olive oil on my lamb chops before air fryer.

only problem is the bottle can feel a bit greasy after a while - I just wipe the outside with a tissue or wet cloth.

I wonder how this can be cleaned.
As the oil just stays in the pipe and nozzle and becomes sticky overtime.
Better off with a normal oil dispenser and a brush

I have been using mine for ~2 years. Never had this issue. Only thing is that I use it regularly.

      • Yep me too, no worries and use it almost every day.

      • Had mine a while too, no dramas besides a small chip in the white plastic due to a drop.

    • Fresh oil should not coagulate. What are you using? I've also never had the need to clean mine.

These are great, yes they can leak/drip a TINY bit. But utterly brilliant kit for me and the environment.

I love these. But I already have two and don't need more 😢

  • oh no, I paid $7 a few days ago

Life hack with the sprayer: the toilet seat was starting to creak and I don't have WD40 in the house. Ended up using the sprayer with olive oil to get into the hinge, worked a charm!

Also was in a pinch the other day because I was touching up the trims inside my house with oil paint and couldn't find my bottle of turp to wash my hand. I sprayed my hand with oil and it worked a treat. :)

Ran out of lube, used this to spray on my dong, worked a charm

        • Thanks for the laugh!

        • I didn't realise you could just do a half spray.

  • My coles branded version leaks if you spray it when the oil is below about half/quarter, does this do the same?

    • I have this one and I never fill it up. Its always around quarter full and does not leak.

      • Well hopefully my cheap coles version breaks so I can buy this one!

        Thanks

        • Just buy it, you won't regret it

  • Are the Phillips bulbs discounted in store or online only?

    • +1

It doesn't state online only, so should be in store as well. Check your local for stock first though (and hope that the stock checker is accurate).

  • I have one of these and the internal bladder collaspe on itself. Is there a way to prevent that? Everytime i go to refill it, i use a chopstick to expand the bladder. Bit of a PITA.

    • +3

These haven't used bladders for years. Yours must be really old.

      • Oh so these are revisions of the old one? Definitely getting one then! Thanks

    • +1

There's a one-way valve at the bottom of the clear canister. When refilling, take the white spray part off and gently suck on the bottom of the canister. It will re-inflate the bladder.

      • OMG thank you! I've been doing the chopstick thing mentioned above for years, with partial success. Hadn't realised there was a hole at the bottom of the container.

    • I recommend taking it to surgery

    • I recently replaced the old bladder model with the new bladderless one. It's sooooo much better.

You should definitely get a new one.

      • Didn’t realize it was different. Genuinely excited!

    • Get a pin or needle and poke the outer casing carefully without penetrating the bladder. This could allow the bladder to 'breathe' and expand into the cavity. Does not affect the performance with the pin hole

  • bought 1 thx op

  • +2

This reminds me, I really should open mine that I got from the last deal… or just buy another

    • +1

buy another, maybe they'll forget the packaging and save you the hassle!

    • +1

Buy three more, so you can fill two with two different kinds of oil and have two spares.

  • Look for Philips LED 6w, but it is not discounted

  • Fill and refill mine with olive oil. Never had an issue going on 2 years and 10+ refills

    • +2

Only 10+ refills in two years? Your wife mustn't be Italian

  • Just to clarify, this is is a plastic bottle that can spray liquids into the air?
