  • I am chasing the Ultra on the edu store.

The trade in value of phones is not good.

Anyway… not relevant to your post.

    Thank you.

    • This is the best deal I found after preorder deals.

I got ShopBack to track for $70 also, not sure whether I will get that too.
Planned to sell the buds but looks like everyone is doing so and FB marketplace is flooded with them, even going for $100 :/

please stop posting the s22 series, they have really horrible horrible horrible battery life and overheating issues, and that's an understatement.

    • i have seen about this in many threads, what is that issue actually? i have got one for missus when it was released, and no issues at all on that phone. even my S10 Snapdragon from 2019 has about 80% of battery capacity when checked with Accubattery.

well, it's literally battery life and overheating issues. plenty of detailed reviews online if you want to get into it.

it's not a problem affecting the whole galaxy series, just the S22 series in particular, your S10 is great :)

        • also I forgot to tell, We both use Nova launcher instead of that Samsung one. I have removed all Samsung bloatware from mine using ADB when I got it. That may be the reason though.

Wait till you try the s21!!

My s22 is fine for my needs, end most days with around 50-60% after work and doesn't die by the time it goes back on wireless charger before bed….
Best ive ever had on a Samsung.

Does it get significantly better than this without increasing the size of the phone, with newer models?

I have the 22 ultra. Apart from it sometimes knocking me out cold when it drops on my head while im scrolling in bed, its pretty good battery life wise

    • Hey, i have a s21 fe with overheating issues.
I went to Samsung store and they did see the issue.

Told.me to drop my phone at the centre, which i went there and they said they wouls to re check my phone.

Anyway, i said i wanted a refund, but the road to it sounded so complicated. Is it worth to fight Samsung on this?

My phone is not even 12 months old.

      • Reiterate to them in writing that you want a refund. Keep repeating that and providing arguments with evidence to prove that a repair/replacement wouldn't cut it because all of those Exynos phones overheat. Take your case here if you get nowhere after doing that: https://www.consumer.vic.gov.au/

This year's S23 FE is supposed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ or Gen 2, both of which are very efficient and don't have heating issues.
