    This is the New Apple iPad 3. In Australia the New iPad 3rd generation are not compatible with the 4G network.

        They can't and shouldn't.
        The ACCC nailed Apple for advertising the iPad 3 as a "4G device" when it's not compatible with any Aussie 4G networks.

          Apple does not label it 4G any more. They are labelled Wi-Fi + Cellular.

    Apple Australia sells this for $789 delivered, you have the RRP on your site as $849. Still a bargain but just saying the RRP on your site is wrong.

      Generally on the Australian stock you will see it will have Wi-Fi + Cellular. Everywhere else it is Wi-Fi + 4G. Also in the box it will come with an Australian charger.

    Is GST paid on these Ipads. I am traveling overseas in 3 weeks time, would I be able to claim back GST under tourist refund scheme.

      I can see on the website, under FAQ section, that all of their products are GST free, which means you cannot claim GST back. However, here in the deal, the ipad is said to be Australian Stock, which means there must be GST included in the price. Very confusing but Rep may be able to respond.

        Yes please rep, I need to know this too. The question is, does this item come with a proper Tax Invoice meeting the requirements of the TRS? As it is Aus stock with 12 month Apple warranty, I guess it must have the Tax Invoice but have to be certain.

      We do not issue a GST invoice. You would be unable to claim GST at TRS

      ‘cause they are doing dodgy business IMO. So either they are not selling genuine Oz stock so we were cheated (most likely) or ATO (and taxpayers) is cheated (less likely but not entirely impossible)

    If you are not GST registered as a business then You do not pay gst nor charge GST. The company is prob a small startup business with small turnover which means they do not need to be registered for GST purposes. Doesn't mean its dodge automatically. Read up on the ATO website http://www.ato.gov.au/businesses/content.aspx?doc=/content/2…

    Just wanted to clarify because too many people go shooting their mouths off here with no basis

      Also there is no reason to register for GST if your turnover is less than…i think $70,000 p.a.

      LOL, Glad you provided the ATO linkage but you either didn't read it or you need a cheapy calculator to do your math. The rep said they sold 45 ipad in 3 hours($30K). The GST threshold is $75K p.a.which means at present pace they will exceed their GST free threshold by this time tomorrow (provided they sell at much slower pace). I didn't buy or have any negative opinion just want some people do their basic math before go shooting their mouths off with no primary school math or reading skills.
